
Emily Goldman is the deputy editor at Prevention, assigning, editing, and writing all things health, beauty, fitness, and wellness for news and SEO. She also top edits the Bobbi Brown column in Prevention.
She joined Hearst’s Prevention as a senior editor in 2021, top editing all content for the website and writing the Natural Fixes column for the magazine. She also wrote and edited the Fitness Awards and the Beauty Awards. Prior to her time at Hearst, she joined the Martha Stewart Living team in 2020 as a digital editor for MarthaStewart.com, with a focus on SEO, touching on all verticals across the website. From 2018 to 2019 she was the senior editor, digital content and social media for Bridal Guide Magazine. She worked as the Assistant Editor at Hertzman Media from 2016 to 2018, working on Vamp and Rivet and Jeans magazines. She primarily wrote and edited for Vamp, Rivet, and Sourcing Journal. She also helped manage the Vamp and Rivet social media accounts. She loves spending her time reporting across genres and platforms, from hard-hitting-news to lighter pieces.

She graduated from Boston University in May of 2016 with a degree in journalism and a focus in political science and magazine writing. During college she freelanced for a number of publications, including Jacksonville Magazine, YourTango, and Self.com.
After a number of internships at top magazines, including Marie Claire, Bostonmagazine.com, and a summer with ELLE’s fashion features department, she discovered she truly loves the journalism field.
